Description
Zoey Chadwick and Keeley Doveston will be climbing the O2 Arena in London in an attempt to fundraise for The Island Project! The girls will be taking the challenge on 30th July 2020.
Why are we climbing 52m above ground when we’re both not-so-keen on heights?!
The Island Project, a company close to our hearts is in need of financial support to help fill a £20,000 gap caused by inconsistent payments from placing authorities. We want to contribute to the fundraising efforts to help The Island Project and their animals!
Who are The Island Project?
The Island Project is an alternative education provision using animal-assisted interventions to help vulnerable young people reach their full potential stretching across the East Midlands.
The Island Project relies on consistent payment from placing authorities in Derby City, Derbyshire and Nottingham and recent changes in the payment system have caused huge cashflow issues for the provision. Unfortunately, this has led to several staff being laid-off, and inconsistent pay for existing staff. The Island Project aim to raise £20,000 in total to help support the company and maintain excellent standards of animal welfare through this tough period and Zoey and Keeley would like to contribute towards that figure!
Please sponsor our climb and help support The Island Project!
Thank you
